EFHK Overloaded Event! Saturday September 29th 09-15Z

Vatsim Scandinavia proudly presents EFHK Overloaded event on Saturday 29.09.2012 09-15Z.
There will be full staffing at Helsinki-Vantaa and Tampere Radar. Also at least Sweden control will be online during the event!

We hope for several hundred of flights during the event and will be hosted from Malmi Aviation Club with help of some foreigner controllers.

Arrivals:

Please check that you have the latest procedures (charts, FMC database etc.) for Helsinki-Vantaa.
Charts can be downloaded here and the newest terminal procedures for addons can be downloaded or bought from Navigraph.
If you do not have the latest procedures or charts, or if you are not able to fly them for some reason, INFORM THE ATC.

Plan your flight to enter to Helsinki TMA via fixes ELPIR, INTOR, LAKUT, OKLOR or PEXEN. IAF ELPIR is available only for traffic via waypoint LEDUN.

On intial contact to Helsinki radar report your callsign, aircraft type, current and cleared level, cleared arrival route, heading or direct waypoint and received ATIS
On intial contact to Helsinki arrival report your callsign only.
On intial contact to Helsinki tower report your callsign and runway youre approaching to.

When vacating runway 22L, 04R, 33 or 15 contact Helsinki Ground (EFHK_GND) for taxi instructions, no handoff will be given. If you however landed on runway 04L/22R, then remain on Tower frequency. Remember squawk standby on the ground.
If landed on runway 22L, do not vacate runway via ZG or earlier intersections without atcs permission.

 In case of go around follow missed approach prodedure as published in charts. Tower will advice you to change frequensy.

Holding patterns may be expected over:
LAKUT, inbound course, 076, left turns, 1 minute
OKLOR, inbound course 211, right turns, 1 minute
ELPIR, inbound course 219, left turns, 1 minute
INTOR, inbound course 016, right turns, 1 minute
PEXEN, inbound course 059, right turns, 1 minute

There is no need to call "on blocks" or request engine shut down or frequency change approval.


Departures:

Plan your flight to exit Helsinki TMA via fixes ARTUR, RUNEN, ELMUT, PIVAK, MILSI, ASDUL, NINEV, DOBAN or ROVIL.
Do not enter SID routes to your flightplan

For departure clearance contact Helsinki delivery not before than 15 minutes to estimated engine start up time.

For start up and push back contact Helsinki ground.

Do not cross runways without towers permission!

After airborne, when passing 1500ft contact Helsinki radar without expecting hand off instructions (departure frequensy depent on SID procedure and them are published in charts).

Do not climb higher than 4000ft without atcs permission!

On intial contact to Helsinki Delivery report your callsign and received ATIS. If you are unable to fly the SID given please inform the ATC.
On intial contact to Helsinki Ground report your callsign and stand/gate number.
On intial contact to Helsinki Tower report your callsign and current position.
On intial contact to Helsinki Radar report your callsign, SID/given heading and current altitude passing.

Remember! There are 2 radars online (EFHK_W_APP and EFHK_E_APP). It depends on the SID, which you have to contact after departure. Info can be found from the SID-Charts.
After takeoff do not climb over 4000 ft until ATC has cleared you to a higher level.
