Its also worth remembering that some airlines offer scollarships as well. EasyJet offer a very good one in the UK and a lot of pilots have qualified through this scheme. The only downside is that you 'pay' for it by having reduced wages for a few years

well it depends on weather you think being in control of a B744 with 340 passengers onboard and going into work at all hours of the day fun.
But if it was me I would enjoy it all the same
