The dawn of June 6th 1994... D-Day.
The allied invasion force left England for the shores of occupied Normandy. Their plan was to strike Hitler's fortified western front. Along with sea-born landing crafts, C-47 troop transport aircraft were sent in for precise troop deployment over enemy lines, and who's objective was to help the marine units take over enemy holds.
These specific flights are to be simulated in our next event which is to be hosted by HHAF (Historic Hellenic Air Force), our VA's historic combat division.
We invite all our members, and friends from around the world to join us in this event which will take place on the Saturday 1st of July at 18:00z, and although belated, we believe will pay tribute to all those that participated and lost their lives at this particular point in history.

Uusi kellonaika on 18:00UTC elikä 21:00 Suomen aikaa. Tulkaahan aiheuttamaan meikäläiselle päänvaivaa (mielellää positiivises mielessä siis)

IVAO Finland järjestää koulutustapahtuman maanantaina 24.7. ja aiheena tällöin VFR / Lentäminen valvotulla lentopaikalla.
Alkuperäisen suunnitelman mukaan piti tapahtuma pitää tänään 17.7. mutta johtuen lähes koko henkilökunnallamme olevista kesäkiireistä jouduimme siirtämään tapahtumaa viikolla jotta saamme paremmin materiaalia kasaan.
