I've been in spain for a couple times, and if i can remember right, even an 10yrs old can buy alcoholic-drinks But maybe it's only on the southern coast of Spain... I'm not too sure but that's how i remember it..

I am from greece and i think the same thing happens in my country as in spain. The legal drinking age is ofcourse 18 years old... Here is the thing... Nobody cares about it In northern countries such as sweden france england etc. on this particular subject everybody follows the law...nobocy sells alkohol to kids below the age of 18. The law is the same overall the european union but people in southern and eastern europe are more "elastic" with this subject. And that is because people in southern europe are more "carefull" with it. (no offense) I ve been living in both southern and northern europe and the majority of the northern "people" ( ) are not so carefull with alkohol (some of my friends say that they simply cant tolarate it ) I currently live in sweden and i cannot even buy a freaking vodka... (i am ONLY 20 yo) so i have to import the years consumption from my country or get someone whos over 21 to buy it from here... anyways.. anyone.. no offense to anyone and peace out... DONT DRINK AND DRIVEEEE.... and eat some feta chesse with your salad.. it helps my lands economy

Hi all! Does anyone know what age you need to be to drink in Italy? I am flying there with EasyJety from Bristol in May and i want to know if i can go out drinking or not Hi, My family and i were in italy when i was 13, and yes, you can by any alcoholic drinks you want! One night when we were in restaurant the waiter brang for all of us a dessert drinks... It was somekind of melon ligueur, pretty tasty now when i think of it! Luckily for the waiter(and maybe me), my parents accept little drinking, they say that it's better to start safely with them than with friends in the nearby forests..

I found it very hard to get into any clubs in Alicante whilst underaged 2 years ago, coul'nt even get in to use the restrooms. But maybe they're easier on girls there.

Here in Spain, you can start drinking legally at the age of 18. I live in the southern coast, and yes, here they don't care pretty much about who they sell alcoholic drinks to... You can see minors drinking specially in the "botellones", which is a lot of people drinking in the same public place...

I currently live in sweden and i cannot even buy a freaking vodka... (i am ONLY 20 yo) so i have to import the years consumption from my country or get someone whos over 21 to buy it from here... In Sweden, you have to be at least 20 years old to buy stronger spririts at "Systembolaget", wich is the government owned, monopolized retailer for spirits, strong beer and wine. So I think someone has been pulling your leg mate...
