recomendations for specs of a self-built comp

Hi All!
I am thinking of building my own pc and was wandering what spec everyone would reccomend and what the costs would be?
could someone please also say wat wattage power supply i need?
Also anyone got any tips / do and donts with building my own pc?

Tim I do have FS2004, but the reason why I never use it is because my system that i have at the moment can't seem to handle FS2004, even with all the settings at minimum. So to cary on being a customer of Garys I wud have to buy myself a brand new pc. Know anywhere where I can buy a good, cheap pc from?
