(1/3) > >>

SirPaul:
Merry christmas to all.

I wrote this post earlier, someplace else on fsnordic. So here's a couple of pictures for you to see.
I'm calling this collection of pictures: Cessna in space
....................................................................................................
Aircraft: Cessna C172SP Skyhawk
Place: above EKRK (Roskilde)
Altitude: 1.320.000 ft. (exactly the same altitude as The International Space Station)
....................................................................................................

You can see the following countries:
1. Norway, Sweden and Finland

2. Italy, Spain and Great Britain

3. Great Britain

4. Denmark

Enjoy

Nelarius:
ROFL, must have taken you awhile to get there, eh? Nice pictures!

Finemang:
Nice... That most be impossible..... And how can you do that?

SirPaul:
I'm glad you like the pictures.

It took a while, but not that long either. I think about 10 min. or so. Yeah, a little while I guess.

I got there using the slew key (press Y on your keyboard. Then "Q" to get up and "Z" to go down. To slow down you just have to hit the "Z" key a couple of times until you can see the Vertical speed Indicator is getting towards "0". That's it.

By the way, If your aircraft don't have control thrusters like the space shuttle, you can't do anything up there.
Speaking of which. I'm really looking forward to get my hands on 'Captain Sim Space Shuttle'.

Pretty neat stuff.

I think the limit is 100 000 000 ft

Btw, there is no need to slew. Just open the map and enter the new altitude.
