Hi again.

Hmm, sounds strange...
The only thing I can think of is that if you copied the whole folder "gauges" to fs2002/gauges.
It is just the content in the folder (all the "xxxxxx.gau"-files) that should go into fs2002/gauges, not the folder itself.

does it matter if you copy the whole folder...or should you drag out all the gauge files and just dump them in...is there a difference..thanks  ken

Hi !

Yes, there is a difference.
If you put the folder "Gauges" (from the panel) in the folder fs2002/gauges/ then you have to cut all the files in your "gauges" folder (from the panel)
and paste them into the folder fs2002/gauges so they end up together with all the other xxxxx.gau - files.

If you are asked to overwrite I would say no initially and try the panel first, it might work anyway, and you can allways overwrite later if it doesn't work.
REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL FS2002/GAUGES-FOLDER BEFORE YOU START MESSING WITH IT Wink

Here goes...

Panels as above.

L1011 by Mike Stone
search AVSIM for "mike stone and l1011" and you shall find...
Same goes for www-flightsim.com and www.surclaro.com.
The model is hard to find by itself since mr Stone closed his hamepage, but some of the livery-downloads
has the model too, so you have too look extra for files that are about 1500-2500kb in size.

L1011 by Vistaliners
http://www.eastern-va.com/vistaliners/
This model is really good (in my oppinion...)
There are not that many liverys though...

L1011 by Rey Lopez
Search for "rey lopez and l1011" at www.flightsim.com
You first need the file "adsl1011.zip " with the model and some liverys
Then you can download all the other liverys you can find.
The nice thing here is that the aircraft.cfg found in adsl1011.zip is prepared
for most of the other liverys, so you just have to import the texturefiles and then
you are good to go. The model is nice, somewhere inbetween Mike Stone and Vistaliners
but I'm not really friends with the flightdynamics... But go ahead and try it !

Good luck !

I agree, the vistaliners L1011 is just great !
I hope you get the two panels working.

Check this L1011-page out ! Lots of nice reading, and don't miss the manuals !!!
