To welcome an old pop band back
klappala:
Now it was time to come back from the new continent to the old one, but not home yet, as one classmate of mine, who is also a fan of the same band which I was welcoming back to business during this journey, asked me to go to Tallinn for next Saturday. So now I fly first from Boston, Massachusetts to Tallinn, Estonia, and from there the last short flight back to Vantaa, Finland will be some time next week.

The air traffic control asked to position and hold before clearing for takeoff. There were many other planes leaving Boston at the same time. First one for Guadalajara, Mexico, then one for Fresno, California, before finally this plane going to Tallinn, Estonia, was cleared for takeoff on runway 4L.

But finally also the Tallinn-bound plane is airborne.

The cruise altitude which in this case was 29500 feet was reached above the border between Maine and Canada.

The sun rose during the flight. So even if it was quite late in the evening and dark when we left Boston, the landing to Tallinn was a daytime landing. Here is the turn from base to final of runway 26 of Tallinn Ulemiste International Airport.

And here the plane is parked at the gate in Ulemiste.
klappala:
So now it was finally time to come back home after visiting Boston, New York and Tallinn. Unfortunately during this last leg the weather was not at its best.
Ready for takeoff at runway 8 of Ulemiste.
Rotate. This time it was no use to pull landing gear up, as the distance from Tallinn-Ulemiste to Helsinki-Vantaa is as short as it is. Also the altitude was low. Turning to base for runway 4R of Helsinki Vantaa was no later than right away after when this picture was taken.
And here we are already on final for runway 4R of Helsinki-Vantaa.
Ground control assigned gate 211 for us. Here we have taxied to the gate, and the exit door is already open.

At Tallinn-Helsinki route you can climb to the FL150-180 with B744. And if you want even a little piece of realism you really should raise your landing gear on that Tallinn-Helsinki route. Or are you seriosly saying that Estonian Air, FinnComm, Finnair and other airlines operating Tallinn-Helsinki in real life not raise their landing gears on that route?
Also when you are crossing the Atlantic Ocean with aircraft like B744 you really should fly higher than FL300...
OttoPOI:
It doesn't help you if you leave the gear down, in fact is slows you down and therefore you spent more fuel, etc.
