I have a Strange Tecnical Problem.
Maby some of you have an idea what it can be?
I Uninstalled Vista 64 Bit and FSX due to alot of Buggs in Softwere ect, and went with the Old Tecnology:
System: -
Windows Xp Home
8GM Memory (3 GB is of course the only Allocated by Xp)
Asus 9800 GX2 Graphic (1 GB Grapgic memory, requires 2 GB system memory to work well)
x2 Raptor Disks each doing 10000 RPM
Asus Striker II Mother Board
Q9450 Quad Core Extreme
CH Yoke, Throttle, Pedals
Active Sky 6 (Highest Graphic)
PMGD747
My Swap File (Väkslingsfil) is set to 4096 MB.
I use Full Screan, and Resulution 1280x1024x32
120+ Paywere Addons (Flight1 Envirement, Unlimited Terrain (all packages), All Aerosoft Scenerys, All Simflyer Sceneryes, All Samsoft Sceneryes, All Swedflight Sceneryes, All Fly Tampa Sceneryes, And Additionaly some +70 Airports/Citys/Landmarks/ ect ect ect Payware Sceneryes)
Please note, i Do not use any Freewere Sceneryes expept the Öresunds Bridge. (who is high quallety np).
The Problem i get:
I fly from RCTP (Taipei) to Schiphol (EHAM) and after aproxemetly 11 Hours of Flight, I get "Out of Memory" Error, and FS9 Crash.
I do fly Online on Vatsim, and use FSInn to Connect to the Network. (I have a 100 mbps Internett Conection, Conected from Sweden)
I have tested the same Flight 3 Times, and it Crashes when im aproxemetly 1 Hour from Schiphol. (Flight Simulator sayes its due to Out Of memory, but Failing Files is also saied in system messages to be AS6.exe..) But WHY when im 1 Hour from Destination, and not during Climb or Cruise? (never got to start decent on any of the Flights).
Please note that i have done a test with TuneUp Optimiser (a great program), and it calculates my usage to be 1 600 MB of Memory when i fly (I have all settings on Max, and my system is supose to be able to support that, right?) ... This means i have left 1 400 MB of Memory. It also messures the Swap File to "not currently used", Properbly as i have enugth Systrem Memory?
Anyway Gentlemen, Im not a Computer Expert, But i would be very very very very happy if any of you could give me some ideas...
If any of you could help me out, i would be Very Very Happy.

Hello Richard.
I´m no expert either but have you tried to rebuild your Windows paging file?. I ask because i found THIS on Microsofts site.
The topic says "Your computer has run out of available memory" error message when you start Flight Simulator. but hey how knows ?

Det här är bara en teori, men kan det vara så att minnena är över 3 GB?
Alltså låt oss säga att du har 4 minnen á 2 GB, det innebär ju att XP antagligen bara kan använda ett av dessa, eftersom jag har svårt att tro att det kan använda "ett och ett halvt".
I och för sig ska 2 GB RAM räcka gott och väl för att köra FS9, för mig går det utmärkt till FSX.
Sedan vet jag inte vad datorn tycker om att ha massa minnen installerade som inte används.
Att FS9 använder 1600 mb minne låter mycket tycker jag, ser du alltid till att stänga av onödiga bakgrundsprogram?
Och du, skriv för guds skull på norska, här på FSN klarar vi av alla de tre skandinaviska sprogen

Japp, nu har jeg testet det igjen, og samme problem igjen.
Tok Föresten ut Minne, så nu är det endast 4 GB (2 Brikker) Installerade.
Windows "recogniser" i System 2.75 GB
Windows Paging File Tok jeg bort, og etter Defragmentering av HD, satte dit igjen.
Min Teori, er at Unlimited Terrain Europa är Problemet, då det intreffer först etter DEGUL Fix i Danmark.
Flighten RCTP - EHAM har jeg gjort nå 8 dager i rad, Crash på samme sted +/- 80nm
