Sweden Regional Thursday 2nd of April 17.00z-20.00z

Sweden is located at the heart of Scandinavia
and extend about 850 nautical miles in the
north south direction and about 250 nautical
miles in the east-west direction.

There are some 50 instrumental airports in
Sweden distributed all over the country.

The main hub is Stockholm-Arlanda airport.

VACCSCA is pround to present Sweden Regional
Thursday, which will give you opportunity to
discovery some of these regional airports in
Sweden.

Every Thursday we will select 2-4 airports
and provide ATC at regional towers as well as
on Sweden Control and the hub Stockholm-Arlanda
airport.

This Thursday 2nd of April 17-20z
Sundsvall-Midlanda (ESNN), Växjö-Kronoberg (ESMX),
and Stockholm-Bromma (ESSB) are in focus.

Around Stockholm: Barkarby, Vängsö
Around Växjö: Emmaboda, Älmhult, Ljungby/Feringe, Västervik, Borglanda...
Around Sundsvall: Härnösand, Hudiksvall, Ljusdal

ESSA - Stockholm/Arlanda

VFR scenery

There are several small VFR airfields that can be reached within about
half an hour's flying time from ESMT or ESGJ:

ESFA - Hässleholm/Bokeberg
ESGE - Borås/Viared
ESMC - Eksjö/Ränneslätt
ESMG - Ljungby/Feringe
ESMU - Älmhult/Möckeln
