[Vatsim][18th of September 08-22z] Gardermoen Realtime

Johan Grauers:

VACCSA would like to welcome you to the annual Gardermoen Realtime Event!

This time, there will be 16 Norwegian controllers gathered in one room, to control the skies of the Oslo AoR.

Oslo Airport, Gardermoen (IATA: OSL, ICAO: ENGM) (Norwegian: Oslo lufthavn, Gardermoen) is the principal airport serving Oslo, Norway. It acts as the main domestic hub and international airport for Norway, and the second-busiest airport in the Nordic countries. A hub for Scandinavian Airlines and Norwegian Air Shuttle, and a focus city for Wideroe, it is connected to 25 domestic, 27 European and 5 intercontinental destinations. More than 18 million passengers traveled through Oslo Airport in 2009, of which 8.6 million were domestic making, Gardermoen the sixth-busiest domestic airport in Europe.

The traffic is picked from real traffic on Saturday the 14th of August. And it has a lot of destinations in southern europe for the sun-hungry Norwegians. We have very accurate data including the registration of the aircraft. So the connecting flights are the actual connections for that aircraft.

We hope all the eurpean destinations will attract a lot of you european pilots to us this evening!
