MD-11 previews? FMC?

As for PSS charging for liveries - I don't fly a plane because of the colors on it. I fly a plane because it looks good on the outside, and it flies like the real thing does. I can do my own repaint if I really have to. PSS always included the liveries I wanted most in the base pack, so I never really worried about the addon livery packs (which you could by each for like $5 bucks, or a pack of 5 for $20 or something like that). They also allow you to choose what you get. Want the model and not the panel? Have your own sounds? GREAT! Buy the parts you want, and skip the ones you don't. I wish more groups would offer their packages like that.

I must say it all sounds very dubious this, about knowing people and betas and all......
I certainly wouldn't come out with such strong statements if;
A. I hadn't bought the product
B. I wasn't an idiot!
I echo Bill's last post and suggest you post over at PMDG's support forum where a few real NG captains reside, no I doubt you wont do that because you know your writing bunkum!
Finally, PSS are not accurate FDE wise or visually, where as PMDG are! You've really shot yourself in the foot by not buying the NG. Your loss mate!

Well, I don't want to get into this fight. I'm writting this as a pure user of addons, I have no clue about programming, and I'm not a real worl pilot. Just a pure simmer.
I love PMDGs NG. I got it as version 1.3, where all the major bugs have been sorted out from my point of view. I never experienced serious problems.
About realism and looks: It's real enough for me. A 737 pilot MAY think different, I don't. And I personally know 2 737 pilots who where stunned by the realism PMDG offers for a PC flightsim addon. And I think its one of the f***** best looking aircraft currebtly available for FS.
For the price tag: 35$ is okay IMHO, at least for PMDGs product. They offered a discounted price for the 800/900, what I found very likeable.
Why should they raise their prices now? Okay, the group grew larger, "more mouths to feed" . But with the 747 and the Md11 we will still get 2 planes per package, pax and cargo (engine variants?), panel, sound,....
If they decide to go up to 40$ or 45$, still okay with me. As Paul Wilson said, they built their reputation, and they know ppl might pay a bit more now. And of course they have developed their skills, so we probably can hope for an even better product than the 737 is.
They will not make the same mistake like Ariadne did. 100$ are just ridiculous, after all, it's just an addon. And PMDG are sure aware that there is a price border above which their sales (and their reputation) would drop steeply. See Ariadne. Who knows, maybe we can also profit from some time limited discounted sale?
In short, I think that the guys of PMDG deserve good money for good work. We all do. And thats what they delivered in the past, good work (same for Bill et al).
And I'm confident they will know, and respect, the border between a fair price and a rip off.

Who says he doesn't have it...
And Chris, do you have any idea on programming? Did you forget that they have to pay per credit card transaction, they have to pay for a dedicated server (A LOT OF MONEY), for website design and for their download script, and for all kinds of things I KNOW you didn't factor in to prove your point...But, as they say, you only hear what you want to hear (or read)...

Will the MD11 have a complete overhead (with IRSs, fire, fuel etc.)?
I guess it will have a TCAS (as you now have the code from PMDGs great TCAS) and does it need to be modified (or is the display of targets etc. identical to the Boeing style)?
What won't be included? I know, still long way to go and you never know, but I guess WX-radar is currently not really achievable...
