If I remember right you can't play NTSC(USA) game on PAL(Europe) PS2,but you can also order from most USA stores PAL games,atleast from some.

Correct, you must buy a Moddingchip to make your xbox / ps2 able to play NTSC and PAL games

And if you want to watch NTSC DVD on your European PS2 you wont have any colour but it will play.

MY friend has an American PS" but he can't buy games here he has to get them sent from America to europe
